Seat's city vehicle is Arosa and this model seems to be optimal for the "lady of the house". The shape of the body is not particularly attractive, however, when you get inside you can forget it, that the stylist had a gray day. And inside everything is arranged like in a box, subordinated to the principles of ergonomics and kind of familiar. The Arosa is a clever puzzle made of parts massively produced by the Volkswagen concern and used in other vehicles. The floor plate and engines are from the VW Polo, seats from the Audi A3 and only the Seat stamp on the steering wheel leaves no doubt, that we are not sitting in Volkswagen. Part unification is a sign of the times and there is nothing you can do about it. The Arosa, however, is a modern car, as evidenced by the extraordinary amount of space for passengers in the front seats. There is more of it than in competing toddlers, and even more than in popular cars with a global range. And who would have guessed. It is much tighter on the back seat. It has a short seat, and the compartments on both sides reduce its width. Taking a seat in the back is inconvenient, because only the back of the front seat tilts down. In other constructions for the boss's wife, it is possible to additionally move the entire seat forward. A trunk with a symbolic volume 130 dm3 can be enlarged to 790 dm3 by folding the couch.
The Arosa is powered by a displacement engine 1,4 dm3 and power 44 kW. This classic drive unit, with two valves in the cylinder, it is better than the basic engine 1,0 dm3 (37 kW). The acceleration times in the individual gears are shorter, and the noise level is lower. At speed 100 km / h the volume in the fourth gear is 72 dB, which is not a great result, but similar to other vehicles in its class. The effectiveness of the braking system is also average. The Arosa drives confidently, despite the use of a simple suspension system, however, the characteristics of the suspension are quite tough. The vehicle is offered as standard with two airbags, which is unique in this class of cars. Arosa meets the expectations of a lady who prefers small vehicles. This agile toy car moves around the city with ease and is more than just a shopping bag.
