Spring '91: Frontery's debut, initially, a five-door model with a benz engine was presented. 2.4 and 2.3 liter diesel; ’92: three-door, short version. ’98: the new Frontera II.

► Summary
The Frontera is Opel's first off-road vehicle. The car is based on the Isuzu design. The fronters achieve favorable prices, however, operation is not cheap. You have to pay a lot for service on the site and spare parts that are difficult to obtain. The long version provides a very spacious interior.
