In the following years, the shape of the track was changed several times. Concrete was introduced in the 1950s, inclined turns, which made it possible to develop even higher speeds. After several serious accidents, the race organizers wanted to reduce the speed on the track by using "harassment."” (artificial obstacles), but it did not improve the situation. Therefore, in 1957 The track was restored to the pre-war years. The high average speed achieved today in Monza is approx 200 km/h.
