1944 12-14 February Motoring Convention in London

1945 7 The Ministry of Industry begins its activity in January;

24 February in Huta Ludwików (later SHL) the foundry is launched, forge and mechanical workshop;

March State Metallurgical Works are established in Andrychów (the later Diesel Engine Manufacturing Plant);

1946 3 January Resolution of the Council of State on the nationalization of industry;

16 January Decree of the Council of Ministers defines the rules of PKS operation;

February establishment of the Car Sales Headquarters, which takes over the distribution of vehicles from the State Automobile Office and opens three outlets (Warsaw, Myslowice, Wroclaw) and three depots (Gdynia - cars, Łódź - spare parts and tires, Oświęcim - tires and motorcycles);

May Construction work on the Star car begins in Łódź 20;

13 June reactivation of the Polish Automobile Club, which brings together 14 branches;

14 July, the first nationwide PKS timetable is published;

13-15 On October, the 2nd Industrial Congress of the Recovered Lands takes place in Wrocław, which presents the principles of the development of these areas;

1947 2 January, the decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to establish the Automotive Electrotechnics Plant in Świdnica;

January making a decision to build Zakłady Starachowickie, producing trucks;

27 In April, the Andrychów plant produced the first engine after the war
diesel S-80, designed for fire engines;

April A prototype of a Polish motorcycle engine is produced in the plant in Ustroń;

1 On May 1, the first two Polish agricultural tractors Ursus C-45 ride in the May Day parade;

July in Ursus, at the Automotive Industry Experimental Plant, the first version of the S-40 engine for the Star car is created 20;

1 August, the Świdnica plant installs the first generators and starters from the accumulated stock of parts and subassemblies;

1948 30 January liquidation of the Automotive Industry Association;

January in Zakłady Starachowickie, the Production Start Office was established

1 July, the creation of an independent Central Board of the Automotive Industry;

4 April establishment of Dębickie Zakłady Przemysłu Gumowego Degum;

July completion of the first stage of construction of the Passenger Car Factory;

4 September in the International Rally of Technical and Experimental Trucks with the participation of teams from Czechoslovakia (Praga rn, Skoda 706 M) and Hungary (Csepel g i D) first 6 Stary took the places 20; December decision was made to build the Truck Factory in Lublin.
