History of a car from Germany in the Vehicle History service.

 

You can already check the mileage for free, In our service, Vehicle History, there are just cars from across the western border and not only.

Suppose, that you want to buy a car. You just found your dream model abroad. The seller description seems to be perfect, but your intuition tells you: check. How to do it, when you are home, and a dream car a few hundred or several thousand kilometers away? This is where we come in with the Vehicle History service!

Thanks to it, we can check, among others. whether the car was stolen, scrapped, if there is no counter twisted. To do this, we only need a registration number, VIN number, date of first registration and trusted profile.

Until today, you could use this method to x-ray cars imported to Poland from many European countries, United States and Canada. However, a country was missing from this list, which the vast majority of cars coming to the Vistula come from – German. They are already here.

How did this happen? We have expanded the number of companies, we work with. With regard to foreign data, we have so far relied solely on information provided by CARFAX. From now on, the AutoDNA company also joins this group.

Thanks to this cooperation, we also extend the shared data to include:

– manufacturer's service campaigns advertisements (the service contains information about recorded service actions / repairs announced by vehicle manufacturers),
– not allowing the vehicle to move (the service contains information about eligibility to participate in road traffic),
– VIN number compliance with the ISO standard (the service contains information about the compliance of the VIN check digit with the ISO-3779 standard).

Cars from countries, from which we will provide data, constitute a total of approx. 80% import of used vehicles. This is a fundamental change for Poles interested in purchasing a used car, motorcycle or other vehicle from abroad.

So far, we have received data from several countries. Now we will be sharing additional information on vehicles from these countries and information from new countries. In addition to Germany, our database will also receive additional information about cars from, among others. France, Slovenia, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

Using our e-service is free of charge, which means, that you will not pay to obtain information about the vehicle.

Basic service, which we offer there is the possibility of checking a car registered in Poland. To do this, you need a registration number, VIN number, date of first registration. Trusted profile is needed, when you want to check a car from abroad.

Being on the website, you enter the mentioned data. If the car is not registered in Poland, the system will ask you to log in with a trusted profile. A few moments and it's ready. All the data you are interested in can be found in the "Foreign data" tab.
