Daewoo Lanos Sports
In addition to the cheapest version of Lanos, Daewoo offers the Sport model, with factory tuning of the body. The car is intended for customers who value individuality, who want to stand out with a car from a limited series. The Sport model was developed on the basis of the Lanos 3-door body variant 1.6. The front bumper of the Sport model is painted in two colors, body paint and black, which emphasizes the sporty character of the car. At the rear, changed multifunction lamps were installed, distinguished by an enlarged reversing light and a rear fog light. Above the glass at the edge of the roof, a spoiler is larger and differently profiled than in the SX version. The car's wheels are equipped with aluminum alloy rims. The side protection moldings running along the door are painted with the body paint, and on the front fender there is a Sport emblem to distinguish the model.
The interior underwent the biggest styling changes. The instrument panel in black is made of soft plastic and has metallized finishes. The steering wheel is trimmed with two colors – red with black – leather and the seats and door panels are covered with black fabric with red inserts. The profile of the front seats has also been changed. The backrests have increased elements that support the sides of the torso, and deeper seat cushions better support the driver and front passenger when cornering.
Lanos Sport has a wide range of standard equipment, in which they are located: two safety airbags, system ABS, electric front door windows, electrically adjustable right exterior mirror, glass that filters infrared radiation, adjusting the position of the steering column, radio with a set of four speakers, additional fog lamps. Choosing Lanos Sport, one of the two accessories must be selected – air conditioning or a sunroof.
Lanos Sport is equipped with the unchanged driveline and chassis assemblies used in the models 1.6 SX, So a sporty looking vehicle does not offer faster acceleration times, higher maximum speed or suspension characteristics, allowing for very dynamic driving, e.g.. during rallies. Changes to the appearance of the bodywork do not increase fuel consumption or increase fuel consumption, nor an increase in the volume inside.
