BUGATTI 35 – year 1930

Each cylinder had two intake valves and one exhaust valve. It also had a small cooler, however, he didn't need a fan even at the Targa Florio mountain races. A masterpiece of blacksmith craftsmanship was a hollow front axle with a circular cross-section, forged from one piece. The front axle beam was gradually turned, hollow, bent, hardened and polished. In addition, mechanical brakes were used, with automatic setting adjustment in case of uneven wear. The drums and brake shoes were cooled by the ventilation action of the wheels.
