BMW 328 – year 1937

Style BMW 328 was undoubtedly the greatest achievement in the pre-war production of Bayerische Motoren Werke GmbH cars.

In the following years, larger types emerged 319 i 319/1 with a 2-liter 6-cylinder engine and three carburettors.

BMW's most successful sports car 328 it was also equipped with this engine, with cylinder capacity 1971 cm3 with three Solex carburettors and hemispherical combustion chambers, whose power was 58,8 kW (80 KM) by 4500 RPM. Mass-produced cars, initially intended for everyday use, thanks to their sporting ambitions, they were included among the most interesting car constructions and although they were not the cheapest, represent the premium brand of the German automotive industry.

Model construction 328 it was also successful abroad. The English company Frazer-Nash produced it under license.
